Okay I admit, it is weird writing one of these for myself! Ladynoble is run by your truly – Rose Noble. Some of you may know me as the Handmade City lady, or art lady, or mama lady… I have so many hats it is kind of crazy! In my booth I will be selling fun new art, décor and handmade jewelry. Please find me and say “hello”, I really love getting to make new friends at each Handmade City event! ~ Rose, HMC Lady

It’s that time again, vendor spotlights! We will be posting a new spotlight every weekday until our event. To kick things off we thought we would start with our pals over at Rozz-Tox, after that we will be posting vendors from Z to A!
For those of you who have never been to Rozz-Tox, you are truly missing out. Tucked away on the edge of the District of Rock Island, just far enough away from the routine stops but close enough to action and definitely considered one of the District’s front runners for remarkable music, art and performance. In addition to all the pros they have going for them (amazing restored building, fabulous coffees and teas, unique art, poetry night, good beer, great music, gourmet cupcakes…) they happen to be some of the nicest people we have met! Taken straight from their website, this statement describes the venue best:
“We opened Rozz-Tox on April Fool’s Day 2011 with the intention of creating a cultural space by blending aspects of a café, music venue, gallery and bookshop into one all ages venue. We are open to all genres of music and art with the only requirement being that it is original. We are promoting creativity, not replication or mindless entertainment. We like to refer to this venue as a canvas – an evolving work that’s never finished. We welcome artists of all artistic disciplines to be a part of this.”
Handmade City held our Spring 2011 & Holiday 2011 events at Rozz-Tox last year. We are excited to have them be a part of HMC4. They will be selling coffee and cupcakes at the event – you must stop and say hello! Visit them before our event at: 2108 3rd Ave Rock Island, IL 61201 or check ’em out online at rozztox.com and their facebook page!
Handmade City organizer Rose Noble – aka Ladynoble, will be selling original artwork along with, handmade nature inspired jewelry & beads, art prints, and fun decor items. Colorful art meets clean design, hand drawn portraits and silly stories you are sure to love!
Betty Round – kitchen & bath designer by day… crafter by night! This will be Betty’s third appearance at a Handmade City event but she will be selling brand spanking new items! This time around you will be able to pick up her one-of-a-kind housewares. We are very excited to see what Mrs. Round will be bringing on December 3rd, we love the chalk board globe! To learn more about Betty, what inspires her and her creative process check out this Featured Artist Interview we did with her back in April. Trust us when we say you are going to LOVE HER as much as we do. Art & crafts aside this mama rocks and her booth will most likely be one of your favorite stops at Handmade City Holiday 2011!
